India Lost 2nd ODI by 5 Runs

India lost the second ODI against Australia by 5 runs in a thrilling match in Indore.

Chasing a target of 294, India were all out for 289 in the final over, with MS Dhoni falling just short of his century. Rohit Sharma (79) and Virat Kohli (92) also made significant contributions, but it was not enough to prevent India from suffering a second consecutive defeat in the series.

Australia, who won the toss and elected to bat first, were led by a brilliant century from Steve Smith (105). David Warner (53) and Glenn Maxwell (45) also chipped in with valuable contributions, helping Australia post a challenging total.

India's bowlers were unable to contain the Australian batsmen, with only Jasprit Bumrah (2/43) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/52) managing to take wickets.

With this victory, Australia have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
